BASS launches Progressive Web App for crew

BASS has launched the BASSnet Crew Portal, a Progressive Web App that gives seafarers comprehensive access to personal details, sailing plans and travel documents while at sea or on shore.

Cloud-based maritime software provider Hanseaticsoft has launched a new app for its Cloud Fleet Manager - CFM Go - to make it easier and faster for customers to access relevant data about their fleet from their mobile phones.

The International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS) has launched a new free App for iOS and Android devices to simplify the process of finding a commercial or yacht and small craft marine surveyor by area or specialisation.

BASS adds new web portal

Maritime software provider BASS has announced the launch of the BASSnet Web Portal, designed to provide web-based access to shipping companies looking to monitor their fleets’ pending approvals, alerts, compliance issues, discussions and KPIs while on the move.

Bureau Veritas has introduced the first phase of its My Fuel Consumption software system, a Cloud-based web application offering a digital process to manage compliance with IMO-DCS (Data Collection System) and EU MRV (monitoring reporting and verification) regulations, which aim to track shipping CO2 emissions.

The Baltic Exchange is to work with digital container freight platform Freightos in publishing independent audited benchmark rates for the global container shipping industry, to be called the Freightos International Freight Index.
